Cleburne Electrical Work With Your Floors and Furniture Protected

We handle panel upgrades, electrical repair, lighting, EV chargers and generator work for homeowners in Cleburne, Joshua and Keene. Drop cloths go down before tools come out, and drywall dust and wire scraps get swept up at the end of every work day, so your home stays livable while we work.

What Shapes the Cost of Electrical Work

Every home is wired a little differently, so we price the job after we see it. Here is what tends to move the number up or down, so nothing on the estimate catches you off guard.

Once we've seen the work in person, you get a written estimate that lists each part of the job. If opening a wall turns up something unexpected, we stop and talk it through with you before any extra work.

Size and scope
Replacing one faulty outlet and running new circuits to a kitchen remodel are very different days. More circuits, fixtures and wire runs mean more labor and material.
Access to the wiring
An open attic or unfinished garage is quick to work in. Reaching wires hidden behind finished drywall, down in a cramped crawlspace or at the far end of the house takes longer, because we work slowly to avoid cutting extra openings.
Condition of what's already there
Older wiring, scorched connections or an overloaded panel sometimes have to be corrected before new work can safely tie in. We show you what we find and why it matters.
Equipment and materials
The panel brand, the EV charger or generator you choose, and the type of fixtures all change the material side of the bill.
Permits and utility coordination
Panel changes, generator hookups and larger projects usually need a permit and inspection, and some require coordinating a disconnect with the utility. Those steps are listed on your estimate.

Electrical Services for Your Home

Every job we take on is done under our Master Electrical License as a licensed electrical contractor, TECL 36609, and it's backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty. Day to day, that means electrical repair and lighting installation, along with larger projects like panel upgrades, whole-home rewiring and remodel and addition wiring. For backup power, we handle generator installation, generator service and repair, and home battery backup systems. We also put in EV chargers and surge protection, fix the items an inspector flagged through our code corrections and inspection fixes, and offer torque and cleans, where we tighten and tidy every lug and terminal inside your panel.

How We Treat Your Home While We Work

Electrical work means cutting into walls, crawling through attics and opening your panel. We plan for the mess before it happens instead of apologizing for it afterward.

Floors and furniture covered first

Before anything else, we roll out floor runners along the path we'll be walking, and each ladder stands on its own canvas cloth. Furniture near the work gets moved with your okay or covered in place.

Dust contained at the source

When we cut drywall for a new box or fish a wire, we hold a vacuum at the cut. Small openings mean less patching for you later.

Swept up every day, not just the last day

Multi-day jobs end each afternoon with scraps bagged, tools gathered and walkways clear. You can cook dinner and walk the hall without stepping over our gear.

Plain answers before any work starts

We show you what we found, explain whether a repair will hold or a replacement makes more sense, and put the scope in writing. You decide before we pick up a tool.

Permit paperwork is on us

If your project calls for a permit, we file for it and book the inspection as required by the local jurisdiction. On inspection day, we're the ones at your door meeting the inspector, so you don't have to rearrange your day.

A Cleburne Electrical Company That Respects Your House

Electrician Cleburne is a residential electrical company. We believe the way a crew leaves your home matters as much as the wiring behind the wall, because you're the one living there once we pack up the truck. Nobody should spend the weekend after an electrical job vacuuming insulation off the carpet or patching holes bigger than they needed to be.

Panels, circuits, lighting, generators and battery backup are what we do every week, and summer air conditioning loads keep plenty of it busy here. We take the time to explain what we're doing in plain words, answer your questions as they come up, and treat your home the way we'd want ours treated.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Do you pull permits for electrical work?
Yes, when the job calls for one. Panel upgrades, generator installs, new circuits and remodel wiring usually need a permit and inspection as required by the local jurisdiction. We file it, schedule the inspection and meet the inspector at your home.
Why do my breakers keep tripping?
Usually it's one of three things: too much load on a circuit, a short or ground fault somewhere on the line, or a worn breaker. A frequent trigger is a high-draw appliance, like a portable heater or a microwave, running on a circuit that already carries other loads. We test the circuit to find the actual cause rather than just swapping the breaker, then explain the fix.
How long does a panel change take?
Most panel upgrades take about a day of work, with power off for part of it. We let you know ahead of time when the power will be down so you can plan around it. The inspection and any utility reconnection can add a little time depending on scheduling.
Can you install an EV charger in my garage?
Usually, yes. First we look at your panel to see whether it has the space and capacity for a dedicated circuit. Then we plan a short, neat wire route to the spot where you park and mount the charger where it's easy to reach. If the panel is already full, we lay out the choices, including whether a panel upgrade is worth it.
What should I do if an outlet smells hot or a breaker won't reset?
Turn off that breaker, or the main if you're not sure which one, and stop using anything on that circuit. If you see smoke or flames, call 911 first. We work by scheduled appointment, so once things are safe, phone us to book a service visit and we'll trace the cause.
What warranty comes with your work?
Our work comes with a 1-year workmanship warranty. If something we installed or repaired isn't right because of how we did it, let us know and we'll come back and make it right.
How messy will the job be?
Some work does mean cutting drywall or going into the attic, but we keep it contained. Floors get covered, cuts are kept small and vacuumed as we go, and we tidy up at the end of each day, not only on the last one.

  1. 1
